Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis

NEW - A Great Learning Resource from the ICH

The ICH Recordings are a great resource for you to learn hypnotic inductions and/or revise and refresh already completed learning.

The collection includes:

  • 11 full versions - complete demo of the induction, deepeners/ego-strengthening and the emerge process and explanation of the key points.

  • 10 short versions - induction demo only for a quick reminder.

The collection of videos feature 11 hypnotic inductions, some which are taught on our Clinical Hypnosis Diploma training course. In fact, each one of the 11 full versions is actually a complete hypnotherapy session on it's own right as first the particular induction is used to induce trance, the trance is then deepened and the participant is given lots of confidence boosting suggestions for a healthier self-esteem (who would not want that?), before emerging the participant from the trance state. The important points about how to carry out the induction are then explained.

There are additionally 10 shorter versions available, giving you the option to watch the induction demonstration only.

Autumn 2020 Professional Course

Dates: Starts 7th November 2020

16 days of training starting on the 7th November, 2020

for 8 monthly weekends as follows. Dates will be published soon.

Location of London training
Most of the ICH courses (including all of the weekend Foundation and Professional Courses) are held at King's College, The Strand or Waterloo Campuses in London, WC2

The ICH hires the facilities at King's College.  We wish to be clear that there is absolutely no link, academically or otherwise, to the university.

The venue to be used will be communicated to you when your place on a CPD course is confirmed. Alternatively, you can see which venue will be used for which CPD course by looking at the CPD courses page.

Car Parking at King's College
As is the case in many Central London locations, car parking is at a premium. We therefore regret that we are unable to offer any car parking facilities at King's College. However, it is well served by public transport as follows:

Main line stations:
Charing Cross, Waterloo and Waterloo East

Tube/Underground stations:
Charing Cross (Bakerloo and Northern lines)
Embankment (Bakerloo, Circle, District and Northern lines)
Holborn (Central and Piccadilly lines)
Temple (Circle and District lines)
Waterloo (Bakerloo, Jubilee and Northern lines)

Parking on Saturdays is subject to strict parking control and, if you decide to drive, you are advised to be exceptionally careful as to where you park. Parking restrictions on Sundays are more relaxed and, whilst offering no guarantees, it should be possible for you to park reasonably close to the college. There are a number of NCP car parks situated close to King's College and if you would like details of these please contact us.

Cancellation/Refund policy
The ICH reserves the right to cancel a Diploma course or a CPD module if we do not have sufficient students to make it viable to run and/or change the location to suit the number of registered students.

Student cancellations will be accepted, and registration deposits refunded, up to 21 days prior to the start of the CPD module for which you have enrolled. Alternatively, deposits can be carried forward to a future CPD module, if you wish. If you decide to withdraw from a CPD module (for whatever reason) after you have paid one or more of the instalments but before you have completed the CPD module, you will not be entitled to a refund of the fees already paid. Our experience is that it is unusual for individuals to withdraw from a CPD module. However, our refund policy is stated here for the sake of clarity.

Next Dates for Continuous Professional Development Courses

CPD modules are open to graduates of the ICH  as well as anyone with an equivalent qualification in hypnotherapy. If you wish to apply for a course and you are uncertain about the skill level required, please contact the ICH to discuss the skills and experience you have already obtained elsewhere. This will ensure that you will gain most our of you training with us.

Those ICH graduates who attend our CPD modules, can study (and therefore accrue credit) for the additional ICH qualifications of the DHP (Diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy) and the MCH (Master Clinical Hypnotherapist). For non-ICH graduates this advanced qualification are only available through skills assessment and bridging.
